Last weekend we were lucky enough to shoot a really special event. My friend Bonnie’s mother turned 90 a few months ago, and they had a really lovely party for her. She and her daughter Leigh really outdid themselves. There was great food, lovely flowers, and lively conversation all at Bonnie’s gorgeous home. Bonnie is an amazing interior decorator. I worked for her for eight years. She is so talented! Her home is a true reflection of comfortable, classic beauty.
As an added surprise for her mom, Leigh contacted us to come and shoot some family portraits! It was a great day.

It was fun to see her reaction when she saw some of her guests. There were lots of surprises. People came from all over the country!
And if you want to have a great party, just add a couple of adorable children. Bonnie’s grandkids are so adorable!
