Last weekend we headed up to Boston to spend the afternoon with Cara & Jason. It was a beautiful, warm day after endless cold, dreary days, AND it was St Patrick’s Day weekend AND we were going to Fenway! We were pretty excited! Cara & Jason were such gracious hosts, and we loved getting to know them. We are so excited for their wedding in the Fall.
When Cara told us that they wanted to shoot at Fenway, I told her she had just blown John’s mind. He is a huge Red Sox fan and I wasn’t sure if I was more excited for Cara & Jason or for us! Jason’s brother used to work at the stadium, and has a friend that was able to show us around. It was so cool! Because opening day is in a couple of weeks, they were working on the field. It was a major construction zone and pretty awesome to see. We even got to meet the Head Groundskeeper, who invited us onto the field to shoot for a second. (It was pretty intense. The field was covered in tarps and we were not to touch any grass. He told me, “You can stand here. Make it work!” Just like wedding day!!) It was a very cool experience!

Next we headed back to Cara & Jason’s neighborhood. I loved all of the great architecture. We had fun finding interesting nooks in this place that they love so much.
Cara and Jason, thank you so much for being so much fun and showing us around your little corner of Boston. We can not wait for your wedding at Saltwater Farm in November!
