It’s been a rough couple of days here in Southeastern Connecticut. It rained. And rained. And rained. For two days. Doesn’t sound like much, but we got more than a months worth of rain in those two days. (Thankfully we have weathered the storm with a relatively dry basement. A lot of our friends haven’t been so lucky). But even the horrible weather didn’t keep people away from the Wolf Den at the Mohegan Sun to see Jay Dempsey and Highway Call on Monday Night. I was very excited when the asked me to take some pictures because it is a really awesome venue. And I always love to see my sister on stage! (She’s on the left.)

Here are a few of my favorites. The stage and lighting were incredible.

Check out the people dancing in the foreground of the picture on the right. Love how they frame Kym.

  1. Those are great as usual Jenn! What lens are you using?

I am looking at getting a new Macro. I don’t often use a zoom for much. I like to crawl around in the dirt and take pictures of bugs! LOL

  2. Hi Tracy,
These pictures were shot with a prime lens. It was a Nikkor 85mm 1.4D-my new favorite! I have a Nikkor 60mm 2.8D Micro (Nikon way of saying Macro) that I use for closeup detail shots. I highly recommend it.

  3. Yeah, I am loooking at either the 60 or the 105. I can’t decide which one I want to get. :o( So, they just sit in my ‘shopping cart’ until I decide. LOL
