On their wedding day,  many people remarked what a beautiful couple Leigh and Chase are, and it is very true. They are a stunning couple who are full of life and exude kindness and fun. They are not afraid to laugh at themselves and when you’re with them you are going to have a good time! We found that out when we did their engagement session at Watch Hill last year and their wedding day did not disappoint. The Wayside Inn provided a gorgeous backdrop to celebrate with their family and friends, and just like them, their day was full of beauty and fun!

One of my favorite personal touches from their day was their first look. Chase played division 1 baseball and was drafted by Kansas City. Way back when, he tossed a baseball at Leigh, covered in flirty messages, letting her know he was interested. So for their first look, Leigh rolled a baseball towards him with messages of her own, telling him it was time to turn around.

Like so many of our 2020 couples, Kristin and Matt had to make the difficult decision to postpone their wedding day until next year. And like so many of our couples, they have handled it with the best attitude and good humor. It’s been a tough year, but these are the things that keep us going! We were so happy to hang out with them (socially distanced, of course!) at Harkness Memorial for their engagement session.  After getting rained out on our first attempt, we were rewarded with the most beautiful day. Kristin and Matt are so sweet and fun, and we can’t wait to capture their wedding next season!

To say that it was nice to get back behind the camera to shoot Lauren & Frank’s engagement session is an understatement. We have missed it so much! And they are such a fun, sweet couple. It was great to be back. We had so much fun exploring Chaffinch Island Park with them and can’t wait for their wedding next year at Saltwater Farm Vineyard!
