Last weekend Jennifer and Matt got married on a gorgeous end-of-summer day at Saltwater Farm Vineyard. I had been looking forward to their wedding ever since I had met them one afternoon at the vineyard last Fall. After chatting for a bit I discovered that Jennifer was the brother of Dan from Full Send Productions, a super talented film maker (and all around nice guy) that I had the pleasure of working with. I had just seen an amazing video that Dan had posted of a couple getting engaged on Martha’s Vineyard. When I mentioned it, Jennifer and Matt let me know, it was their proposal! (You can see it here.) Such a small world! I was thrilled when they chose us to document their day.

Everything was perfect on their wedding day, which is not surprising if you know Jennifer! She will tell you, she’s a planner. And she hired an amazing group of vendors to help bring her plans to life.  Daly from Daly Planning always makes sure everything runs beautifully. Saltwater Farm Vineyard was the perfect venue for their vineyard elegance theme and Jennifer’s Antonio Gual gown from The White Dress by the Shore was a stunner. We were all obsessed with the back detail! But the most perfect thing about their day was the pure joy that radiated from them both and the love of their friends and family surrounding them.

Last weekend, Emily and Rachana got married at Saltwater Farm Vineyard. Saltwater Farm Vineyard is one of our favorite venues, and always beautiful, but even more so this time of year when the vines are full. After being hot and humid for what seemed like forever, their day was cool, breezy and finally felt like Fall. They chose a laid-back coastal vineyard vibe which fit their personalities perfectly. Because these two are the sweetest couple! We had the best time capturing them together! It was such an honor to be a small part of their wedding day. Their friends and family obviously love them very much and helped make their day so special!

Last weekend, we had the pleasure of shooting a classically beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple. Jane and Peter are all about their family and close friends, and their wedding day reflected that perfectly. They are such thoughtful and caring people. All of their guests were so happy to see them officially start their life as husband and wife.  The day started on a special note, with John hanging out with Peter and the guys at Trinity College (his family is multi-generational alumni!) while I spent some time with Jane and her bridesmaids at her Dad’s house before making a stop at a friend’s home to take some photos on their grounds. It was gorgeous. But one of my favorite moments was Jane and Peter’s church exit! Peter, his father and brothers are all exceptional rowers. In fact, Peter was in the 2012 Olympics! So, instead of a sword arch, they had an oar arch! It was so cool! After the ceremony, it was on to the Hartford Golf Club. It’s beautiful spot to celebrate, especially with the florals by Melissa at Stylish Blooms. Their family and friends treated us like old friends and we had so much fun. It was such a perfect day, and John and I were so happy to be a part of it!
