Christina and Alex are the sweetest couple and we have loved getting to know them. As it turns out, Christina and I have a lot in common. We graduated from the same high school, know a lot of the same people, have the same Starbucks drink of choice (chai latte for the win!) and both love soccer! But while I love to watch, Christina and Alex actually grew up playing. In fact, they still play together on an indoor soccer team. (Indoor is no joke! Christina had to pause playing before the wedding so she wouldn’t be covered in bruises) We totally bonded over our love of soccer. Christina and Alex met at college and had their first date at a New England Revs game. She is a huge Manchester United fan, and he supports Chelsea, which just goes to show that true love conquers all! We knew we had to incorporate some fun soccer pics into their special day.
And what a day they had! They didn’t let the rain get them down. In fact, they embraced it. We had so much fun doing their portraits in Mystic (Is there anything more romantic than the rain?) And Saltwater Farm Vineyard is beautiful, no matter the weather. It was the perfect spot for the beautiful celebration of this special couple.
