The beginning of Caroline and John’s love story sounds like it’s straight out of a romcom. Boy meets girl online and arranges their first date. They meet at a bar which he didn’t realize was attached to a hotel. The waitress totally forgets about them. It’s pretty horrible. Would that be the end? Thankfully girl likes boy enough to try another date. That date (at a corn maze) makes up for the first date and they fall in love! Cue adorable montage of their next five years together: Skiing, scuba diving, buying a house, getting an adorable golden retriever named Summit. Which all leads up to this picture perfect day! Caroline and John exchanged vows near the water at the Stonington Lighthouse (with Summit as the worlds cutest ring bearer) and then celebrated with family and friends at the beautiful home of Caroline’s parents. Kaitlin from Blue Lane Events, Coastal Gourmet and Flowers by Justine brought their coastal vision to life. It was stunning! They danced the night away and ended the evening with a sparkler send off. Caroline and John, cheers to you and your happy life together!
