We first met Meagan she was trying to figure out how to schedule an engagement session when she wasn’t sure what Justin’s work schedule would be in the limited time he would be home before he needed to head back out to sea. This is something all Navy spouses can relate to. We have had the privilege of being friends with many Navy families over the years, and they have been some of the strongest people we’ve ever met. Especially those at home holding down the fort; helping with homework and shoveling snow and just doing whatever needed to be done. They are a selfless and amazing breed which Meagan has already proven herself to be worthy of. By the time she left our house that day, we were fast friends. When we met Justin for their engagement session we loved him, too! And we loved them together.
We were so thrilled that our schedules all worked out and we were able to spend their wedding day with them at the beautiful Branford House, by the sea. This is the place where Meagan used to come to watch Justin’s submarine as it headed out. She had said to me that it would be amazing if a sub went by during their ceremony, and guess what? That’s exactly what happened!
It was a great day made even better by some of our favorite vendors! Melissa at Stylish Blooms worked her magic with the gorgeous flowers and DJae Melee had them on the dance floor all night long! We love working with them!
