Sometimes, no matter what, things don’t go as planned. It rains. You forget to pack towels. Cars break down. The best laid plans don’t work out. At least, they don’t work out like you planned. That kind of describes our trip to Vermont. It rained. I forgot to pack towels. The car was acting up.
Yet, we had a great time. We rolled with the punches. We watched movies, drank hot chocolate and took a walk in the rain. And I may have forgotten towels but I packed extra blankets. And our car got us home safely. You can’t ask for a much better weekend than that.
I was awed by the beauty of Vermont, even in the mist and rain. The view of Mount snow from the condo was amazing. We loved watching the clouds and mist roll in.
We took a walk to the ski resort, which was just beautiful. They were having a mountain biking event. Rain, mud and bikes, what’s not fun about that? And then we hung out by the fire.
So, rolling with the punches is good. Thank you, Vermont, for a wonderful weekend.
BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! I love your photos Jen! the fall colors are gorgeous! SO glad you had fun and made the best of it. =) I can’t wait to go north in a couple weeks!
Jen,
Love the pics of Vermont. I love all the colors. Where were you – it looks like Okemo? I ski a lot and we belong to a club with a house on Pico so we ski either Pico, Killington or Okemo.
You really are talented!
