Last week, we were trying very hard to ignore the weather forecast. Because, quite frankly, it sounded horrible. Even on Saturday morning, it was sounding dire. Meredith and Michael had planned a perfect day, getting married in Westerly and leaving plenty of time for photos in Stonington before heading to the Seaport for their reception at the Boat Shed. It was going to be perfect, despite the weather. So we packed up the umbrellas and hoped for the best. After all, the most important thing was that these two beautiful people were getting married! But then the most amazing thing happened. After some misty drizzle on the way to the ceremony, the rain left and didn’t come back. For the entire night! We were incredibly happy for them and their family and friends, who were SO MUCH FUN! Meredith and Michael are the sweetest couple, and we were very happy to be a part of their beautiful day!
