I am so excited to blog about this truly special wedding! First, we have known Mike for a very long time, and were absolutely thrilled when we met Sara and saw what a perfect match they were! Second, Sara and her family and friends made so many special details that made the day perfect, and perfectly them. From the trellis they were married under to pinwheels the guests held on the beach, from the cake pops and stand on the sweets table, to the girls floral headpieces and the bride’s birdcage veil, all were created by Sara and company! Add to that a gray, yellow and fuschia color scheme, a beach wedding, flower girls in pink tutus with candy bouquets (made by Sara), and a carousel, and I was a happy photographer!

The wedding took place on the Carousel Beach in Watch Hill. Sara’s mom officiated!
And then I saw the tent! The reception was held at Sara’s parents home in North Stonington. Everything came together so beautifully! Sara and her family and friends made all of the floral pom poms that hung from the ceiling, and her dad took the grapevine from their woods, which they strung with lights for a truly magical effect. I loved how that mixed with the sophisticated gray and yellow.
The table numbers were printed on wine labels, with each bottle placed on a round of wood. And the simple use of billy balls for centerpieces added style and fun!
I was in love with the birdcage place card holder!
There was also a wishing tree where guests could share their wishes for Sara and Mike. The cake pops and stand were made by Sara’s amazing bridesmaid and her husband.

And then there was the lemonade station in the back of Sara’s dad’s vintage truck! One of Sara’s friends made all of the signs for them.

The best part of the day was that Sara and Mike were just so happy! We rarely saw them without a smile on their face. And their friends and family are so much fun!
