And now, for the final installment of Kadie and Mike’s incredible wedding!
When Kadie contacted me, she explained that she and Mike wanted to do something different. They wanted an informal cocktail reception with a meaningful ceremony mixed in. I was immediately intrigued! And every time we spoke, I became more and more excited. With the help of an amazing venue and vendors, and equally amazing family and friends, they put together a very personal, beautiful, fun, warm and all around special evening.

Saltwater Farm Vineyard is a truly beautiful place. Gourmet Galley, Ryan Designs and Flora Flora used a mixture of red, white and burlap accents to bring out it’s rustic warmth.
Kadie and Mike had the idea of having well wishes from their friends and families printed onto canvases. Kadie’s sister Courtney and Mike’s sister Tracey thought it would be even more fun if they kept the messages a surprise. Courtney (who is in marketing and design) formatted them, and Kadie’s stepdad framed them. Here they are reading them for the first time. It was really touching and sweet (and funny) to read all of the wishes. Such a great idea!
And Kadie’s grandmother, who was unable to travel, was able to enjoy the wedding thanks to her stepmom skyping on the iPad!
After enjoying cocktails with their guests, it was time for the ceremony! Courtney adjusted her sister’s veil as she was escorted up to the mezzanine by her father and her step father.
JOP Marie Wiley (one of our faves!) conducted the ceremony while the guests watched from down below. There was a touching speech by the groom’s best friend.

The ceremony was followed by a wine tasting, dinner stations, toasts, and dessert! Some tasty bites provided by Gourmet Galley.

Another cool touch was the typewriter that was set up for guests to leave messages to the bride and groom.
