This past weekend was the wedding of Allie and Alex at St Clements Castle. It was a chilly, beautiful fall day and Allie and Alex were such a fun couple to work with. They were so happy and excited to get married! Their day was filled with lots of laughter, tears and a whole lot of dancing!
Upstyle Beauty did a beautiful job on the girl’s hair and makeup.
Allie had a prayer book attached to her bouquet that was a gift from her great grandmother to her grandmother. Both her grandmother and mother carried it down the aisle at their weddings. Allie was able to carry on this beautiful family tradition which was especially special to her because she lost her nana not long ago.
They opted to do a first look because the photography is very important to them, and they wanted to take advantage of the light outdoors while we could (something important to remember if your wedding is after daylight savings). We headed over to the Marina at St Clements and it ended up being one of my favorite first looks ever! Alex was overcome with emotion when he saw his beautiful bride!
The ceremony was outside and may I just say, it was cold! But Allie toughed it out like a champ!
Mike Conolly Sound Productions had them dancing all night!
Allie & Alex, it was such a joy being with you on your wedding day! All of your hard work (and detailed timelines) totally paid off. We wish you guys a lifetime of love, laughter and happiness!Tags: Connecticut Wedding, Connecticut wedding photography, Connecticut Weddings, Fall wedding, St Clements Castle, Weddings
