Last weekend, Ainsley & Paul got married in a beautiful ceremony at Saint Patrick’s church in Mystic and headed to the Meadows in Stonington for a night of celebration with their family and friends. We loved getting to know Ainsley and Paul at their engagement session at Bluff Point last year, and knew their wedding day would be something special. Their day could not have been more lovely. Ainsley looked so beautiful, and Paul couldn’t help but smile when he looked at her. The weather started out sunny and bright, but as we headed back to the Meadows, the fog rolled in. I love fog! (What a rollercoaster we have been on with the weather lately!) My favorite part of the day was spending time with Ainsley and Paul at the beach, doing their portraits in the fog. There’s something about fog that is so mysterious an romantic. It was so much fun (especially since they had scheduled in plenty of time for us to do them). We were in photographer’s heaven! We had a great time meeting their family and friends, who obviously love this couple very much. There were sweet (and funny) toasts and some epic dance floor moves (including a very interesting interpretation of Fireball). All in all, a beautiful day celebrating Ainsley & Paul!
We always love working with some of our favorite vendors, including Stephanie (and friends) from Rae of Lyte Beauty, Gourmet Galley and Stylish Blooms. Everyone did a great job making sure Ainsley & Paul had the day that they envisioned!
